Curiosity, warmth and hospitality dominate Palestinian identity, and Ramallah is its cosmopolitan centre. Palestine has a vibrant culture and history that is waiting to be explored! Don’t overlook a trip to the lovely city of Ramallah. Or the rest of the West Bank, where your prejudices will disappear and your tastebuds will party!
On this page, you’ll find travel stock photography of Ramallah, Palestine. These stock photos where shot in November 2019. You won’t find any of these images on stock photo websites. But you can purchase them directly through this website. If you’re working for a company that would like to use any of these images, please email wilmar@wilmarphotography.com with your requests.
The last ten images on this page were taken in the Yasser Arafat Museum in Ramallah. This is a fascinating, three-story museum that highlights the life and work of Yasser Arafat, a historic leader of the Palestinian people. It sits next to the intricately decorated tomb of Yasser Arafat himself, his main office and last command headquarters.
It’s worth paying a visit to The Old City of Ramallah to soak in the many Ottoman, Ayyubid and British Mandate-era buildings. Home to the ruins of an ancient watchtower, the Ottoman Court and Al Kamandjati, the city’s music conservatory.
You can also travel from Ramallah to the city of Jerusalem by bus or a private taxi. Be prepared for heavy security checks on your way. And remember to take your documentation with you. There is tonnes to see in Jerusalem, so you might want to stay a few nights. Just a few highlights include Haram Al-Sharif, Western Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Muslim Quarter and Mount of Olives.
