I put together this collection of stock images from Chobe National Park after I visited in June 2022. It’s a fantastic park, and spotting wildlife here is incredibly easy! Part of the images that you see were taken from a boat. The rest were taken during our two-day safari camping trip via 4WD.
I’d highly recommend taking this trip; it included everything you could need for a great experience in the Botswanan bush. We had a tour guide and some locals that helped us set up our campsite, carry the food and made sure we had a toilet and shower. All we had to do is bring a small bag of personal items!
Chobe is a really fantastic park, where you can see plenty of different animals from the comfort of your 4WD. But you’re not allowed to leave the safety of your car here. So if you do want to explore wildlife by foot, you’ll need to visit the Okavango Delta instead (or as well!).
Below, you’ll find some of the images I shot while I was there. During our two-day trip we saw an unbelievable amount of wildlife, including elephants, hippos, giraffes, baboons, kudus, monitor lizards, crocodiles and America Fish Eagles, along with lots of other birds.
These Chobe stock images are only on sale on this website. If you are interested in using any of the images you see here, please contact me via wilmar@wilmarphotography.com
To find out more about this stunning national park, head over to the Wikipedia page or the Chobe National Park website. If you’re looking to join a tour of the park, but don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars for just one night, I’d recommend finding a local tour operator. Lots of local tour guides work out of the town of Kasane, which is where we found ours. For more information check out their website: https://kalaharichobe.com/
