Travel photography Belgium

My travel stock photography of Belgium has been collected over my many visits to the country. After all, it’s just next door! On this page, you’ll find photos from the grand capital of Brussels and the fairytale-esque town of Bruges. But also travel images from charming town of Gendt, the forests of Ardennes and so much more.

Belgium is a country that has always drawn my attention back for more: friendly locals, fantastic food, thirst-quenching beer, picturesque towns and stunning countryside. All of which make Belgium a great place to visit.

As a professional photographer with years of experience behind me, I’m also lucky enough to be able to work in the country on some occasions. If you need some portrait photography doing in Brussels, take a look at this page: Portrait photography Brussels. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with me if you need photography or film.

Alternatively, if you’re here for travel stock photography in Belgium, then head over to this page: Wilmar’s photos shot in Belgium. That is where you can browse through all of my work, and purchase any photos that take your fancy.

Just before you take a look at my travel stock photography of Belgium…

…here are some top tips about the country:

  • There’s no such thing as the Belgian language: Belgium has three official languages; French, German and Dutch.
  • Belgium is home to some of the best music festivals in the world: including Rock Werchter, TomorrowLand and I LoveTechno.
  • You can sample 30 different types of waffle: Yep, the Belgians are mad about waffles and make them better than anywhere else in the world.
  • Belgium is home to the world’s smallest town: Durbuy, home to just 500 people.

Most Belgian city’s have two or three different names: a name in Flemish, German or Walloon. For example, Antwerp is also known as Antwerpen and Anvers.
