Over the years, I’ve fallen in love with Germany, and, in fact, the people of Germany too. The country pulls me there in so many ways; from the friendly locals and picturesque landscapes, to the hearty food, And let’s not forget the fantastic beers to accompany it. These are just some of the many reasons why I’ve visited Germany so many times. And why I’ve got so many different types of travel stock photography of Germany to offer you.

I’ve been lucky enough to see a lot of Europe (including Spain, Italy and France). However, as you can see from my library of stock travel photography of Germany, I’ve managed to see a lot of this country in particular. To help you out with your next trip, here are a few unmissable experiences for next time you’re in Deutschland.

Explore Berchtesgaden National Park. One of the last remaining spots in Germany that remains untouched by human hands, the Berchtedgaden National Park is a magical mixture of turquoise lakes, vibrant forests, grand valleys and open meadows. 

Discover Burg Eltz. Tucked away in Rhineland-Palantinate, Burg Eltz is one of the country’s most spectacular castles. Its tall blue turrets, adorned with flags, rise up through the Elzbach Valley making for a perfect photo opportunity, as well as a history lesson.

Visit Museumsinsel. One of Berlin’s top tourist attractions, Museumsinsel (otherwise known as Museum Island), is a group of five museums housed in impressive 19th century buildings. But before you head inside, don’t forget to stand back and appreciate the neoclassical architecture.
